April Birchbox

It's Birchbox time again!

The April box has a lot to live up to, after the amazing March box. This box focuses on eco-friendly products, giving a nod to Earth Day later this month.

Juice Beauty | Oil-Free Moisturizer | Full-size, $28
How did Birchbox know I've been fighting a terrible case of pizza face-itis? I have sensitive skin and usually only use Clinique and Origins, but I tried this moisturizer today after my face wash and so far so good! It feels like a serum, is refreshing, dries quickly and is made out of an organic fruit-based formula so no alcohol, benzl peroxide or other yucky stuff!

amika | Obliphica Nourishing Mask | Full-size, $40
Again, with the perfectly-timed samples! All the highlighting in my hair is making it dried-out. This mask claims to boost shine and repair split ends – I'll try it soon and see if it works!

dropps | Laundry Detergent | Pack of 20, $6

So this is the "lifestyle extra." These little pacs can simply be tossed into the washer and they dissolve completely. They're phosphate and NPE-free and made from plants! It's a bit odd to get a detergent sample in a beauty box, but I guess we need our clothes to be beautiful, too. :)

Wonderstruck Taylor Swift | Full-size, $49.50
Zoya | TRUE Spring Collection | Full-size, $8
Taylor Swift's fragrance is nice, but I'm always a bit disappointed when I get perfume samples that don't spray (you have to twist the top off and dab - without spilling all over yourself).

I'm super excited about the Zoya polish, since I love the one from the November box. Sorry this picture is so dark. You can see the color better in this one from the Zoya website:
I love it! The color is soft, with a pretty shimmer.

If you subscribe to Birchbox, what was your favorite sample from this month?
