Ouidad and Buttercups

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't do the whole drinking green beer at 6 a.m. thing, but I'm having an amazing day nonetheless.

My best friend's mom owns a salon, and invited me to get my hair styled with Ouidad products. If you've never heard of Ouidad, it's a line of products designed for curly-haired people. My hair is very curly, but I usually flatiron it since it tends to resemble a lion's mane halfway through the day if I leave it natural. This is what my hair looked like before:

Frizzy, un-defined curls.

Now here's what it looks like after the Ouidad style:

Much better, yes? :) If you're in the Cincinnati area and want to try Ouidad out, or really any salon service, you should check out Bella Chic Salon

When the weather's as gorgeous as it's been lately, I feel like it would be a sin to stay indoors all day, so we took Luigi for a walk. When we got to the park I noticed yellow covering the hills in the woods.

Turns out it was millions of buttercups!

It's hard to see here, but Luigi ran through the flowers and the front of his legs were stained yellow with pollen.

Aside from curly hair and buttercups, St. Patty's Day also included a trip to the library book sale where I scored these books for $3 a piece!

Now I'm off to read them on my porch. I hope you're having a great day!
