December Birchbox Review

My December Birchbox arrived late, because obviously shipping packages is at an all-time high this month! But better late than never, right? And Birchbox added 100 points to my account, which equals $10 off a full-size product!

What a cute card!

This dry shampoo is a-maz-ing! It even gave my hair some volume. 

A little strong, but it's a great scent. 

At first I thought this was nail polish, but it's actually a dry oil shimmer that you can apply to your skin or hair (or both)!

I haven't tried either of these, but I'm sure both will come in handy. :)

Luigi had to see what all the fuss was about. 

Not pictured: Jour pink moisturizing lip gloss. It's such a pretty color and it isn't sticky; it feels more like balm. 

I can't wait for the January box!

With exactly one week to go, I finally am completely prepared for Christmas! All the presents are purchased, wrapped and under our little tree. This year I got a head start on shopping, so I'm relieved not to have to battle the crowds in search of the perfect, last-minute gift. Now I just can't wait for everyone to see what I picked for them!

I wish we could enjoy a white Christmas, but it's been unseasonably mild lately. It would feel so much more Christmas-y if we had some snow! Guess I'll just have to settle by wearing my snowflake poncho. :)

Today I turned 24. It's kind of a bummer to have a birthday on Tuesday, when I have to work eight hours of it, but I'm looking forward to tonight! Zach and I are going to dinner and then to the zoo for the light display. 

While reading one of my favorite blogs, A Beautiful Mess, I was inspired by a post about creating a list of goals to accomplish before the next birthday. So, here's my list of 24 to do before 25:

Golden Rose Goddess

Well hello there! I think I just may win the worst blogger of the year award. As much as I wish I could post every single day, it just doesn't happen that way. I think I foresee a New Year's resolution!

Anyway. I feel like so much has happened in a couple of weeks. None of it is that important EXCEPT the fact that I have an adorable new nephew in my life!

The outfit I wore to work today wasn't too exciting, but the necklace was made by one of my coworkers, Megan Fenno, who owns FENNOfashion. The necklace is called the Golden Rose Goddess and I have a feeling I'll be wearing it a lot!
